Settings center makes handling the account information and links easy

iHome Settings center is member's management center used to control their account and links. It is a Web application to provide tools to handle:

  • links in the Resources section;

  • links in the Favorites section.

  • categories used to organize the links in the Favorites section.

  • community used to control the links access.

  • account information

 

All links in the Resources section are under your control

The screenshot of the resource window is shown on the right side. You can click on it to see a larger image.

It lets you:

  1. control who can access the resource;

  2. run a server on non-default port to hide it from public possible;

  3. access resource at home is same as away from home;
On the resource window, many fields are optional to give you flexibility to control your resources.
 

 

The links in the Favorites section are easy to manage

The screenshot of the favorite window is shown on the right side. You can click on it to see a larger image.

It's easy to create a favorite link by just entering a favorite id, link's URL, and the label only. The others are optional fields.

Category field let you organize the favorites in the Favorites section to make convenient for accessing.

Same as the links in Resources section, you can control who is allowed to access the links in the Favorites section too.

 

 

Categories help you to organize the links in Favorites section

The screenshot on the right side shows a category window.

All links in the Favorites section are organized into the categories. The users can select a category on Member Home Page to show the links belong to it.

 

 

Creating your own Community to control the link access

The iHome members can create their own community. And based on this community, they can create a private links for Resources and Favorites, as well as their own private virtual network.

It's easy to manage your account information

In the Settings center, there are several tools to allow you to manage the account information, such as Password, Email address..., to make them up to date.
